Excellent chiropractor with decades of experience. Dr Hansen always takes his time to make sure the adjustment is completely successful. I’ve seen several over the last 15 years but he is the best-by far!
Dr. Hansen is a knowledgeable and caring practitioner who provides excellent services to me. He has treated me for various muscular and Joint complaints, usually with immediate and satisfactory results. He is well aware of homeopathic treatments for a variety of other difficulties. He is a major part of my overall Healthcare team, and I can recommend him without reservation.
I have a fused spine so I need to be very picky when going to a chiropractor. Dr. Hansen is very careful with me and uses the activator method, which not all chiropractors use. I have a pretty active lifestyle and Dr. Hansen keeps me moving. I highly recommend him!

Dr Hansen is absolutely fantastic! I've known him since he lived in Louisville,KY. When I found out that he'd be moving to Brevard county near my parents I was elated that I'd have a chance to see him for adjustments when visiting. He listens carefully and treats what needs to be treated. He's not one of those who puts you on a lifetime plan for coming back constantly. I always am in significantly better shape after seeing him.
Our whole family has been going to Dr Hansen for years. We've found him to be gentle, knowledgable of the most advanced chiropractic techniques, and now a friend. Dr Hansen has been a wonderfully helpful chiropractor for me for years. He uses the activator technique which helps when I have issues with my hands and feet. He performs a manual adjustment on my head and neck which removes all the deep issues there. He always makes himself available if you are having a severe issue and cannot wait until his next available appointment slot. He schedules a half hour for my adjustments which gives time for any unusual areas I need addressed. His therapy is not a one-sized-for-all method. I also value that his adjusting tables are in a private room as opposed to an assembly line room or partitioned by a divider wall. I refer people to his care and they appreciate his low costs.
Dr Hansen is very knowledgeable and his experience is obvious. I am new to this area of Florida and so thankful to have found such a excellent Chiropractor! He is very through and was able to identify and treat my problem successfully!

Dr. Hansen has helped me tremendously. I love that he explains the adjustments that he’s about do and why. He uses the activator method which does not involve jerking and cracking! I have referred many people to him who were pleased and grateful. Although he does not accept insurance, his rates are very reasonable. My daughter and I have both been seen by Dr. Hansen for quite a few years and it shows in our overall health. His knowledge of the effects of disease on the body surpasses others in his field. He not only can treat adults but has experience working with babies and children as well.
Dr. Nicolai is the man. After a thorough evaluation, he will explain what is going on and the treatment that he is doing. I highly recommend that one gets on a maintenance plan if you can, as a chiropractor like him will make your life better (health wise.)
Very positive experience. Methodical, ... I could use a lot of words here, like thorough, but Methodical, describes his style. Every step: “Is the frequency of your visit in need of an adjustment?” He questions if there is any underlying cause, before moving forward. He will check the result of each individual adjustment prior to moving to the next vertebra, etc. Traditional, no mechanical tables here. He was referred to me by a massage therapist who not having been, personally, still knew his reputation.

Treatment Style and Philosophy
I have had years of training and experiance in instrument adjusting, especially Activator technique. I use FDA approved instruments as well as mechanized tables to assist the patient in getting on and off treatment tables. I do not like guessing about what needs to be done so I use very specific tests to locate areas that need (or don’t need) attention.
While I’m pretty good at diagnosing medical conditions and will refer out patients who need to be refered; I am very good at locating and correcting the neuropathy chiropractors call subluxation. I pretty much agree with DD Palmer’s idea that, “A human being is a human machine and, like a machine, would run smoothly, without any friction, if every part was in its proper place. If every bone, nerve, and all blood vessels, muscles, etc., were just right, there would be nothing wrong. A Chiropractic looks the human machine over, and finds what parts are out of place, why the blood does not circulate freely to all parts, why the nerves cry out with pain. Disease is the effect or result of some part of the body being disarranged. To put them in their proper place, would give the diseased person ease, and allow Nature to rebuild without being obstructed"
